Human in the Mirror (マン・イン・ザ・ミラー , Man In Za Mirā) is the Stand of Illuso, featured in Vento Aureo.
Appearance
Human being in the Mirror has a humanoid trunk with a imperial leotard missing the upper chest piece, and all bolted in place past screws. It wears brown gloves and a hood covering its entire head, along with big goggles. Its facial design is based on a Venetian mask, making the Stand look like a Tengu Due west .[ii]
In the colored manga, Man in the Mirror is portrayed as beingness white and purple, with a light chocolate-brown head. Both in the PS2 video game adaptation & anime adaptation, it is entirely white with black wearing apparel and gold accessories, but in the anime version, information technology has orange goggles.
Abilities
Owning to the arcane power of accessing a mirror globe, Man in the Mirror is a difficult Stand up to defend against. Information technology is mainly dangerous because ambushed Stand Users will find themselves defenseless in the mirror globe. Only, on the other paw, information technology is physically weak and cannot hope to win direct confrontations against most Stands.[3]
Mirror Globe Entry
Man in the Mirror enables its user to enter a "mirror world".[4] Moreover, Human in the Mirror can as well elevate anything into the mirror world by using reflective surfaces as portals, selecting anything that can enter through Illuso'due south orders,[5] and can exercise so regardless of how small the "portal" is.[3] Breaking the mirror actually works in Illuso's favor via creating more openings leading to the mirror world.[3]
Man in the Mirror forces Abbacchio'southward arm into the mirror
Only those Illuso and Human in the Mirror are almost to drag into the mirror tin can see him, even if others are looking straight at the mirror.[four] Moreover, it may also merely select specific parts of an object to drag in or let out, thus it was able to only let in half of Abbacchio, effectively disabling him.[iii] Illuso tin can also play with multiple reflections in social club to drag people through blind spots.[3]
If another Stand User is dragged into the mirror, Illuso can choose to forbid their Stand from inbound with them and a summoned Stand will find itself alone in the real world, although information technology can be remotely manipulated by the User.[6] This makes Man in the Mirror practically invincible inside the mirror, as it will exist the only Stand present. However, Illuso can be tricked into letting a disguised Stand enter the mirror globe.[3]
For his part, Illuso is likewise free to enter or exit the mirror earth and can also select parts of him. Nevertheless, he must do so through a reflective surface. If he leaves, those still in the mirror world will be trapped.[7]
In the mirror world, everything (even people dragged into information technology[4]) is a mirror paradigm of itself and the world is devoid of any lifeform. The contrary images are said to exist made of spiritual energy.[5] The mirror world is effectively isolated from the real earth, and prisoners in the mirror cannot exist seen nor heard[8] at all. Whatsoever activeness in the existent world is "reflected" in the mirror and occurs for seemingly no reason.[6] Conversely, only Homo in the Mirror can affect objects inside the mirror globe,[9] explained every bit the objects "belonging to a realm of death".[five]
If Illuso dies, the mirror globe is destroyed and its prisoners are freed.[nine]
